This was a fun shoot-I obviously just love babies and carriers:)

For some reason...

I just really like this photo. It is way overexposed, but I love it, don't know why. If I knew more about photoshop I could probably make it great, but alas, I am still learning. This is the photographer I am apprenticing for carrying my son in a greenhouse. If you want to see the rest of the shots from this photo lesson, click here. An old soul

If there was ever an old soul, this baby is it. You just have to look at his eyes. I helped this baby be born. I saw him as he slowly made his way into the world on Mother's Day. I will post a few birth pics soon, too.

Maggie-2 days old!!!

I know photoshop!!!!!

Not really, yet. I got my first one on one instruction today and it made all the difference! At least now I can do the basic stuff. Here is the only one I have done so far, but I can totally tell the difference. Too bad I wasted money on photoshop classes, a CU student is teaching me and it is actually fun.

So all I did in this photo was adjust the color, brighten the eyes, and make his skin less blemish-y. Not a huge difference, but you would be able to tell if it was a bit bigger.

Charlotte-3 months and Nathan

Ones I wish had turned out:( It is REALLY hard to get a baby in a bowl or a basket. Need to study my Anne Geddes book. Hmmm, wasn't there a rumor that she was sedating them? Just kidding, of course:) Sometimes it is just hard to get it in focus as they are moving so fast. Below are the ones that would have been great if I would have caught it. I usually don't post these, but thought I would today. I can't look at my own photos anymore. At first, I love them, then I look at someone else's gallery, and I feel like I am using a disposable camera. I *think* I am getting better, it is just that I am studying photography all the time, so my standards may be higher now? I don't know. We'll see.

Could have been cute, but she only stayed in there long enough for a shot or two.

Baby Fiona-5 months today!

I just have to say I *love* photographing the 5-6 month old. Those rolls of fat just make me so happy (see photo #2 and look at that wrinkly fat baby!). Anyways, she was just beautiful, glad to have the chance to photograph her:)

My first attempt at a birth announcement

I can not wait to show these photos of a preemie shoot I did last week. They turned out so well.
